downtown evanston engagement session

I'm really loving this new way of doing engagement sessions that are in your not so obvious locations. Rachel + Jonathan wanted to showcase their love story in downtown Evanston, so we did just that!

Louie is a HUGE part of these two; so much so that Jonathan incorporated him in his proposal to Rachel with a custom book! Rachel is an author, so it was perfectly fitting. Once we were able to snap some images with Louie (look at that floof, omg), we ventured around town capturing them in their favorite plant shop, Cultivate. From there, they wanted to show me where they had their first kiss, so obviously a few moments at that train stop was required.

We ended at the pie cafe, Hoosier Mama, which is where Rachel told me they spent many nights together working and enjoying late night bites together. I'm obsessed that this session is truly them!

I cannot wait to capture their big day next year! Congratulations to these two!
