If there is ever a question on my stance on dogs in weddings, just show them this post. Ruby stole the show during her parent's portrait session (and prep!), but she let the spotlight shine back on them when it came for them to actually tie the knot! Well, actually, she was still very present in the decor, ha!
Alec + Lauren's Harold Washington Library wedding is one that will go down as one of my favorites! For starters, I love this venue. It's a hidden gem in the city and has such an amazing vibe! The glass ceiling, the Parisian blue accents and the grand marble floor; you cannot miss here. These two let the venue sing and even paid tribute to it by making their guest book library cards! The escort cards were bookmarks that were custom made with their monogram. Every detail was thought of!
I always enjoy photographing weddings, but getting to photograph the wedding of someone who has ALREADY seen me work on a wedding day is a huge honor. Lauren is the sister of a previous groom (hey brian + julie!) and she also is the cousin of ANOTHER groom I photographed (hey joe + chelsea!). Asking to come back and photograph for the same family three times is something you can't explain!
I'm so so excited to show off these images. I had a hard time narrowing down all the shots of Ruby! I doubt these two will mind, though!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Resendez!
