morton arboretum engagement session

I rarely get to photograph at the Morton Arboretum for engagement sessions, so this was a treat! It definitely helped that I was there two weeks prior for a wedding, so I knew all the gorgeous spots that were perfectly landscaped!

Sydney + Danny are tying the knot next summer, so we did their engagement session now for them to use the photos for Save the Dates. Sydney had seen my wedding that I just photographed at the arboretum, so she wanted to use those images as inspo for this session. I took them back into the spruce plot (after a warning about the mosquitos) and told them "trust me, it's worth it!" Thank god they were troopers because the mosquitos showed their faces, but we were able to get some stunning photos of them deep in the woods!

I love this session because it just doesn't feel like you're in the suburbs of Chicago. It feels enchanting and magical and perfection for these two!
